The institutional Church has been for many years now not been teaching what it is supposed to, the Gospel of our salvation left to us by the apostle Paul and our Lord Jesus Christ. It is found in 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1-4 and reads as follows:
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures
In hopefully more easy to understand terms, what it's saying is that your salvation is based solely on your belief - faith, that Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross for all sins. Mine, yours, everyones. Past, present and future. He died, was buried and rose again on the third day according to scripture.
He made it so simple, and yet many do not know. It is purely by faith in Him, and not anything else that you could possibly do, it is not enough and never will be, only by faith in His finished work can we be saved. He is the only way to Heaven.
Dear reader please consider the above words, Jesus loves you more than you know! Be saved, believe on our Lord and come with us to your home in Heaven.
